About me

My name is Jadiel Lugo Acosta. I am from Puerto Rico, and I am a filmmaker. I have devoted myself to the craft of visual storytelling through cinematography and editing, and I am here to help you with your next film.

I am currently finishing my degree in Film and TV at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). Through my time at SCAD, I have learned that editing is an invisible art. It is always about the story, and that is why I'm here. To work as your collaborator and make your story come to life.

Skills

• Proficient in: Avid Media Composer, DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, After Effects.
• Bilingual: Able to work on Spanish interviews and create accurate captions
• Controlling pacing and rhythm: able to join, split, and manipulate unscripted footage to create structure
• Sound design: Able to balance clean dialogue with music and ambient sound.
• Color grading and color correction: Able to color images and match footage
• Visual literacy: Able to manage B-roll and create visual connection between abstract images and the subject matter.
