Do I need the rights to my music?
Yes. You must own the song or have permission to use it. YouTube and other platforms check what you upload.
What file do you need?
An MP3, WAV, FLAC or M4A. WAV or FLAC gives the best results.
Can I choose the mood or style?
Somewhat. Pick a vibe: calm, lively, colorful, muted, bright, dark, contrasty, or reacts hard, and I'll choose presets that fit. Exact colors can't be picked, since the visuals react to your music.
What formats do I get?
An MP4, ready to upload. Widescreen 16:9 for YouTube, vertical 9:16 for Shorts and Reels, and an 8-second loop for Spotify Canvas in the Premium package.
Do the visuals flash?
Many do, since they react to the music. I avoid harsh strobing, but the videos aren't suitable for people with photosensitive epilepsy.
Are the visuals AI-generated?
No. Every visual is a hand-made MilkDrop preset from the community, credited to its author. I include the credits with your video so you can add them to your description.
