Do I need to contact you before ordering?
Yes. Please describe your application, hosting environment and what you need help with. I'll review the requirements and prepare a custom offer with a clear scope, price and delivery time.
Which applications can you install or migrate?
I work with WordPress, Laravel, custom PHP applications and other web apps. Send me the application's name or documentation so I can check its requirements and compatibility with your hosting.
Can you help me choose suitable hosting?
Yes. If you haven't chosen a provider yet, I can help you assess suitable options based on your application's requirements, expected usage and budget. Hosting and licence costs are not included.
Can you migrate my website and database?
Yes. A migration can include application files, databases, configuration and domain settings. We'll agree on what needs to be transferred and how to verify the application after the move.
Will my website experience downtime during migration?
Some migrations require a brief maintenance window, especially when the application receives new data. I'll plan the move to minimise disruption and discuss any expected downtime with you beforehand.
Can you set up a new server from scratch?
Yes. I can configure a Linux server with the web server, PHP version, database and any other services your application requires. The exact setup depends on your project and is agreed before work begins.
What access do you need?
Depending on the task, I may need access to your hosting control panel, server, application files, database or domain settings. I'll specify what is necessary. Temporary accounts are preferable and can be revoked after completion.
Do you also fix application bugs or provide ongoing maintenance?
I can help with both. Installation and migration cover the agreed deployment work; application changes and ongoing maintenance can be scoped separately if needed.
Can we communicate in German?
Absolutely. I'm based in Berlin, and we can discuss your project in German or English—whichever you prefer.
