How do we get started?
The best way is to message me with your manuscript and word count of your book. I will take a look and get back to you ASAP with a quote and any questions I might have.
Should I order or contact you first?
I find that with audiobooks, it is easier to contact me first so we can work out the logistics of the your book. Of course, you are more than welcome to order as well.
Time Zone...Are you awake?
I live in Ohio, which is Eastern Standard Time. I usually work until 5pm EST Monday through Friday, but I am available most times of the day and night to chat.
Do you include opening and closing credits?
Yes, all audiobooks come with opening and closing credits. Unless otherwise instructed, I will create the standard rights opening and closing credits under your name.
Do you create chapter files?
Yes. Each chapter will be separated into its own files.
What is your revision policy?
I will work with you to make sure that your audio is the way you like it. If there is an issue with pronunciations, etc., those will be free of charge. All other revisions are $5 per 150 words. However, I am open to working with you on pricing on a project by project basis.
Can you help me upload the audiobook to my account?
Yes. All you have to do is give me your name and password to your ACX account, and I will upload your audiobook. Afterwards, you can simply change your password and you are all set.
How long does it take to narrate my book?
That depends on the length. Typically, 10,000 words equals around 1 finished hour of audio.
