FAQ
Can you perform characters?
Yes. If you have particular ideas for specific characters, please share those with me. If you'd like to send me a portion of your script, I will perform it, and then you can decide if you'd like to move forward with the order.
What is your revision policy?
If the mistake is mine, I will correct it for free. If you need to re-write any portion of the script, the revision fee will be $25 for every 2,000 words. Every additional 4,000 words adds one additional day to the completion date.
How will I receive my files?
I will record and save each chapter or section separately, as appropriate, along with opening and closing credits, prologue, epilogue, afterword, etc. ACX does not recommend including a table of contents, index, dedications, author biographies, or references.
How long will it take to record and master my audiobook?
That depends entirely on the length of the audiobook, and the additional services you add. I can deliver short (up to 2,000 word) audiobooks in as little as 2 days or less. Longer books will take more time (usually a week per 10,000 words). Please discuss this with me before booking the gig.
Will you correct errors in my manuscript?
I will read the manuscript as it is provided to me. This is why it is critical that your manuscript be in final form when you send it to me. If there's a minor grammatical error, I may fix that during the recording. I urge you to have the script proofread by a professional editor first.
What is your communication policy?
I will reach out once you've submitted your script and I've reviewed it. I will also let you know when I start working on your narration. If I have any questions as I'm working on it, I will contact you as appropriate. Once complete, I will submit the final product via Fiverr's delivery system.
What time zone are you in?
I'm in the US Central time zone.
Do you specialize in fiction or nonfiction?
I'm comfortable doing any script, with the exception of erotic literature.
Will you provide a sample for me?
Yes, if you would like me to do a brief sample to aid in your decision, I'm happy to do so. Once you book my gig and I start recording, I will submit a working sample to you for your feedback before I continue with the book. I want to ensure that you are happy with the product!
Does your studio meet ACX and Audible audio quality standards?
Yes! ACX and Audible have strict standards for audio quality. My home studio passes all of their quality marks. Buy with confidence!
