Which VPS provider should I use?
Any Linux VPS works. I recommend Hetzner (cheapest for EU) or DigitalOcean/Vultr (US). A $6/month plan is more than enough. I can guide you on setup if you don't have one yet
Do I need a Mac Mini specifically?
No — OpenClaw runs on any machine with Node.js 22+ and 1GB RAM. Mac Mini is popular for always-on home use, but a VPS, Raspberry Pi, or even an old laptop works perfectly.
Is my data secure? Will you have access to my machine after?
I use screen share (Zoom/TeamViewer) for the setup — I never keep credentials or access after delivery. OpenClaw itself runs locally on YOUR hardware, so your data stays with you.
Which messaging platform should I connect?
Telegram is the easiest and most reliable. WhatsApp works but requires a paid API key (Meta). iMessage only works on Mac. I'll recommend the best option for your situation.
Can you add custom capabilities beyond the default OpenClaw setup?
Yes — that's what the Premium package covers. I can write custom Python skills, connect n8n workflows, and integrate with any API. Just describe what you want OpenClaw to be able to do.
What if something breaks after delivery?
