What do you need from me to start the project?
I need your schematic file (PDF, KiCad, EasyEDA, or image), along with any specific requirements such as board size, enclosure type (e.g. 1590B), preferred components, or special constraints. If you only have a rough idea, I can also help you refine it.
What files will I receive after the project is completed?
You will receive production-ready files including Gerber files, BOM (Bill of Materials), drill files, and component placement information. Optional 3D render files can also be included if requested.
Do you support SMD, through-hole, or mixed designs?
Yes, I work with SMD, through-hole (THT), and mixed-component layouts depending on your design needs and build preference.
Will you help with part selection for the BOM?
Yes, I can suggest commonly available and easy-to-source components, especially from suppliers like JLCPCB and LCSC, to make assembly easier and more affordable.
How long does a typical PCB design take?
It depends on complexity, but most guitar pedal PCB layouts are completed within a few days. I always aim for a balance between speed and quality.
Can you optimize my design for noise and tone quality?
Yes, I design with audio considerations in mind, including grounding, trace routing, and component placement to help maintain clean signal integrity.
Do you also provide enclosure drilling layouts?
