What does your beta read service include?
My beta reading service includes a careful read of your text and a separate reader report with honest, constructive feedback. I focus on the reader experience: what works well, what feels confusing, where the pacing slows down, whether the characters feel believable, and how engaging the writing fee
Do you mark up the document as you read?
Yes, if the package includes it or if you add it as an extra. I can leave short inline comments on specific moments that feel strong, confusing, slow, unrealistic, or especially interesting. My main delivery is still a reader report, not a full line edit or proofreading service.
What genres do you read?
I am most comfortable reading fiction, short stories, young adult, fantasy, science fiction, adventure, personal essays, self-improvement, and general creative writing. If your work is outside these genres, feel free to message me before ordering.
Do you hire people to read books?
No. I perform all analyses myself. I do not subcontract anything.
Can I pay extra for faster delivery?
Sometimes. I accept rush orders if my workload permits it; rush fees will depend on how quickly you need the work and how busy my schedule already is. This is typically only possible for shorter works.
Are you willing to read part of a book?
Yes. I am happy to read whatever portion of a book you wish to share.
