About this gig
I create graphical calculators: diagrams representing the relations between three or more variable quantities by means of a number of scales, so arranged that the value of one variable can be found by a simple geometrical construction, e.g. by drawing a straight line intersecting the other scales at the appropriate values.
Today, it has become a lost art, due to the use of computers and calculators.
Such graphs can be interesting to visualise the relation between different parameters of an equation. It is also surprisingly amusing to use.
In order to construct such a chart, an equation has to be given, it can be empirical or analytic. Also, a range of values for each parameter must be given, it can be discrete or continuous. Also, plase specify the dimensions and colours you want for the plot.
I use Python to draw these. The end file is in pdf, so no loss of quality.
