What I do not do: Video editing, dubbing/voice-over, or transcription of inaudible audio. I work from clear spoken audio or an existing subtitle file. If audio quality is poor, tell me before ordering.

Is this machine translation?
No. The translation and localization are done manually. For the Basic package, the starting point is my own translation, not a machine output. For the Premium bilingual option, both language versions are reviewed by me for consistency.
Can you fix subtitles that were already generated by AI?
Yes. Send me the existing SRT or VTT file. I will correct mistranslations, unnatural phrasing, and timing issues that make the Chinese hard to read. This is a common request and I can quote it based on the file length.
Do you handle both Simplified and Traditional Chinese?
Yes. Specify which one your audience uses. If you are unsure, tell me the platform and target region and I will advise.
What video platforms do you optimize for?
The main timing constraints I work with are YouTube, TikTok/Douyin, Instagram Reels, and course platforms. Tell me the platform and I will follow its subtitle display conventions.
What if my video is longer than 20 minutes?
Send me a message with the runtime and I will create a custom offer. The per-minute rate decreases for longer projects.
