About this gig
My company, The Jinxed Gremlins, will help you sort out the chaos, one gremlin at a time.
With 25+ years of gaming experience you will struggle to find a genre I have not played and enjoyed, with my gaming experience ranging from casual to competitive. I have competed in both FPS games and MOBA games, and been part of numerous speed-run communities, some of which still use my glitches/OOB/builds to compete for world record titles today.
I pride my self on being able to find ways to sequence break or get OOB.
Enough about me, what can you expect from my services? I will spend hours running into walls and getting myself stuck, so that you can focus on developing the game. Or, if preferred, I can sit and pour over stats, damage numbers and skill trees in a spreadsheet to identify balancing issues or statistical outliers. If you don't have that information I can create this for you.
My standard bug report is written up in google docs with easy to understand step-by-step instruction on recreating the issues and providing screenshots where applicable.
Having done streaming and video creation for 10 years, I can also provide first impression videos and feedback.

I’m a father of 2 in my early 30’s who has been gaming for as long as I can remember. I fell in love with old platform games on the SNES, and won't shy away from games that are challenging for the sake of being a challenge. I believe that games should be hard for the right reasons, not just because the game says no.
I have played games both casually and competitively and have a keen understanding on what makes games fun, and balancing is a big part of that, even in single player PvE experiences.

Do you offer packages for longer games?
Yes, I can work a bespoke package for longer games or for testing that takes more than an hour. Please get in touch.
Can you provide a video of the testing process?
This comes in the higher package as standard.
What format do you provide the report in?
Basic level written reports are available in Google Docs, so can be provided as a word doc, pdf, or other formats as required. Standard reports include screenshots alongside the written information. Premium includes written report, screenshots, and a full video of the playtest with commentary.
Do you offer testing outside of Steam games?
There is potential to have non-steam games tested, but please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
What PC specs are you testing the games on?
Windows 10 64-bit, AMD Ryzen 5 1500x, 24GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Super. More specs available on request.
