What kind of files can you deliver?
I can deliver wav, mp3, and / or AIFF files.
What is your turn around speed?
I can turn around a simple recording in less than 24 hours depending on my schedule. Message me and I will try and get you your product as fast as possible!
How can I show you where to record a solo or guitar part in the song?
If you have the rhythm section recorded already for the song just send me the exact seconds on the track from where you want me to start and end my recording.
How can I trust you can get the exact guitar tone I want?
After you have described the guitar tone to me that you want I will start sending you examples before I start recording the project. I have multiple guitar plug-ins and amp profiles that can match the amp / mic set up you are looking for. I also have a REVV D20 which is fantastic recording amp.
What kind of guitars do you have to record with?
I own a 1982 JV Fender Stratocaster, Heritage Standard H150, Heritage Custom Core H150, Ithacaster T-Type, Gibson SG Standard, PRS CE 24, Heritage H535, 2008 Gibson ES 335, and a Gibson J45. All of these guitars are excellent for recording amazing guitar tones.
What kind of home studio equipment do you have?
Apple Macbook Pro DAW - Logic Pro Interface - Scarlette 2i2 32 inch 4k video monitor REVV D20 Amplifier Kali Studio Monitors Camera: Canon M50 + Lights Plug-ins - Andy James Tonality Guitar Suite by STL Tones, STL ToneHub (All packs), STL AmpHub (Subscription), and Amplitube 4 by IK Multimedia.
How is recording at a pro studio better than your home studio?
My home studio is excellent for recording professional guitar tracks. I have over 500 guitar plug-ins and amp profiles as well as a REVV D20 amplifier. However, recording at a pro studio in Nashville allows me access to more guitar amps, cabinets, pedals, mics, and a studio engineer.
