The first 5 years of my career were spent in recruiting, followed by 3 years in writing and communications roles. You can see my background at linkedin.com/in/jo-spotswood. When I was a headhunter, I rewrote candidates' resumes before pitching them to clients. I also used to work part-time for Overheard Recruiting as a writer, editing resumes and cover letters. I completed 60+ orders for them; now I'm back at it solo!

My differentiating factors: 

1) My experience as a headhunter means I know how to "sell" a resume and candidate profile. My in-house recruiting experience means I know how applicant tracking systems, HR, and hiring managers react to resumes. My communications experience means I've honed my business writing and ghostwriting skills.
