Is my bank data kept confidential?
Yes. I've handled sensitive financial data in corporate finance for 10+ years. Anonymized files are welcome, I never ask for bank passwords, and I'm happy to sign an NDA. Files are deleted after delivery on request.
What if my bank changes the statement format?
The tool validates the columns before running and tells you if something changed. Small format changes within 14 days of delivery are covered; a new bank or format later can be added as a small extra.
Will it match 100% of transactions?
It matches everything your rules can identify and flags the rest for review, so nothing slips through unnoticed. Most of the remaining items are real exceptions you'd want to see anyway.
Does it work on Mac?
Python scripts work on Windows and Mac. Excel VBA works best on Windows; on Mac it runs with some limits, so tell me your setup in the requirements and I'll recommend the right option.
Can it read PDF bank statements?
Text-based PDFs, yes, after checking a sample. Scanned PDFs (images) need OCR and are not included.
Do you offer support after delivery?
Yes: every package includes a short guide and help with any bug. Premium adds a video walkthrough and 14 days of support.
