What is the difference between a Canvas App and a Model-Driven App?
A Canvas App gives you full control over the layout and design — ideal for custom, pixel-perfect interfaces. A Model-Driven App is built on Dataverse and follows a structured layout — better for complex data-heavy business processes. I'll recommend the right type based on your requirements.
Do I need a Microsoft 365 licence to use Power Apps?
Yes, you'll need a Microsoft 365 licence that includes Power Apps, or a standalone Power Apps per-app or per-user plan. Many Microsoft 365 Business plans already include basic Power Apps access. Message me if you're unsure — I'll help you check before you order.
Can the app connect to my existing SharePoint lists or Excel files?
Yes, absolutely. SharePoint lists and Excel files stored in OneDrive or SharePoint are the most common data sources I use. I can also connect to Dataverse, SQL Server, and hundreds of other connectors available in Power Platform.
Will the app work on mobile and tablet devices?
Yes. All apps I build are tested for mobile and tablet responsiveness. Canvas Apps in particular can be designed specifically for phone or tablet layout, making them ideal for field workers or on-the-go use cases.
How do you access my Microsoft environment to build the app?
I'll ask you to add me as a guest user in your Microsoft 365 tenant with the Power Apps maker role. You stay in full control — I only access what's needed, and you can remove my access as soon as the project is complete.
Can you add approval workflows or email notifications to the app?
Yes — this is included from the Standard package onwards using Power Automate. I can build approval flows, email and Teams notifications, escalation logic, and more, all triggered directly from your app.
Will I be able to edit the app myself after delivery?
Yes. Power Apps is a low-code platform — you don't need to be a developer to make updates. I'll hand over full ownership of the app and provide a walkthrough so your team can confidently add fields, update logic, or tweak the design going forward.
Can you match the app to our company branding?
Yes. I can apply your brand colours, logo, and font style to the app interface. Custom UI branding is included in the Premium package, and can be added as an extra to Basic or Standard orders.
What if my project is more complex than the packages listed?

Do you offer ongoing support after the app is delivered?
