I'm a full-time creative writer, with a background in journalism, film, documentaries, and novels/e-books.
For the past 15 years, I've made my living from where I'm sitting right now, at my desk at home, churning out content for a wide range of clients, from newspapers and magazines, to film companies, and on to TV channels such as Discovery, TLC and Nat Geo.

I'd have to say experience on both sides of the creative table. I've worked as a writer, an editor, a scriptwriter, an author, and everywhere in between in film and publishing. This gives me insight into all sides of the creative process. Not to mention I'm an avid consumer of all kinds of media.
