iOS and Android from one codebase — will it really feel native?
Yes. I build with React Native or Flutter, the frameworks behind apps like Instagram and Discord. One codebase compiles to true native apps on both platforms — smooth and fast, and indistinguishable from a native build to your users.
Do I need Apple and Google developer accounts?
Yes — to publish you'll need an Apple Developer account ($99/yr) and a Google Play account ($25 one-time), in your name so you own the listings. I'll walk you through setup, and on Premium I handle the full submission for you.
Do I own the app and the code?
100%. You get the full source code, and the app is published under your own developer accounts — no lock-in, no dependency on me. You can keep building with any developer or have me handle future updates.
What do you need from me to get started?
Your app idea and the key screens/features, any designs or examples you like, and (for backend features) your data or API details. I'll send a short checklist after you message me and help fill any gaps — you don't need a finished spec.
Can you design the app, or do I need a designer?
Both. Send me your designs (Figma, sketches, a reference app) and I'll build to them, or I'll design clean, native-feeling screens for you — included from Standard up. You approve the look before I build it out.
Can you add a backend, logins and payments?
Yes. From the Standard package I build the backend, database and APIs so your app has live data, user accounts and payments (Stripe, in-app purchases). Tell me what it needs to do and I'll architect it properly.
Are there ongoing costs after launch?
A few: the store accounts above, plus backend hosting if your app has one (often free to a few dollars a month early on). The app itself is yours with no recurring fee to me. I offer maintenance and updates as a separate package.
