FAQ
What is the difference between Forge, Fabric, and NeoForge?
These are different "loaders." Forge is the traditional standard for large mods, Fabric is known for being lightweight and fast for newer versions, and NeoForge is the modern successor to Forge. I can code for any of these, but they are not cross-compatible you must choose one for your project.
Do players need to download the mod to join my server?
Yes. Unlike plugins, mods change the actual game files. For a mod to work, it must be installed on both the server and on every player's individual computer/launcher.
Can you create custom 3D models and textures for the mod?
Yes! I can implement custom items, blocks, and entities. If you have specific Blockbench models or textures, I can use those; otherwise, we can discuss creating basic ones as part of the project scope.
Can you update an old mod to a newer Minecraft version?
"Porting" a mod depends on the complexity and the original source code. If you have the permissions/source code for an old mod, message me with the details, and I will let you know if a version update is possible.
Can your mods work with existing Modpacks?
Generally, yes. I write clean code designed to avoid "ID conflicts" or crashes with other mods. However, please provide a list of major mods you are already using so I can ensure maximum compatibility during development.
