George discovered this way of Modern-Fingerstyle Guitar playing on Youtube back in his hometown of Aberystwyth, Wales. He has been playing guitar for over thirteen years now and can compose either original work or record arrangements as required. He has also recently completed a masters degree in music performance.
George has access to a full range of microphones and studios to record anything to the highest quality possible for your specifications with a fast turn-around. He currently specialises in composing and arranging guitar parts for vocalists, instrumental or orchestral settings. He also can record acoustic guitar parts, in traditional styles with a pick or within fingerstyle to add to your tracks. Either give him free range with composing an additional part or send over the sheet music/audio references/chord charts and George can pick it up.

In this style he uses the full acoustic guitar to sound like a full band live by doing the drums on the body, bass, harmony, and the melody all at once. He specialises in arranging and composing but is happy to spice up an already-created chord structure.

What do you bring to a song?
My unique percussive fingerstyle playing of which I have practiced for over 13 years. I use a bunch of alternate tunings but I can also use standard, guaranteeing you a more unique sound than a usual acoustic guitarist.
What's your typical work process?
I will create a rough demo from all the files you send over. From this I will ask for any revisions and then once we're dialled in, I will record it professionally in my studio and send you over the stems.
Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
Session musician. I arrange and compose the acoustic guitar parts in either a percussive, fingerstyle or traditional style depending on what you would like. Just send me the chords/tabs and let me know what you like and I'll get to work. I can also compose from scratch
What's your 'promise' to your clients?
Great communication and a track which we are both proud of when completed. No matter how long it may take.
What type of music do you usually work on?
Pop, instrumental or folk tracks.
Tell us about your studio setup.
I record in my home-studio, I have access to a bunch of different microphones of which I record with one on the 12fret, one on the body, and sometimes a mid microphone too + a DI signal. I send all tracks as stems and you can choose which you like, or use them all together. I can also double track.
