I will handle all nursing assignments and classes

I started nursing as a staff nurse in a busy emergency department at a prominent downtown hometown hospital. I treated critically ill and injured patients. I assessed and monitored patients, administered medications, I.V. therapies, and wound care, and documented their illnesses and treatments. I also educated patients, coordinated care with interdisciplinary teams, and comforted patients and their families. I shielded the unit and triaged people as a nurse. 

I liked working in a fast-paced setting because I could identify medical issues, design effective solutions, and cooperate with healthcare specialists from different departments. This experience allowed me to use clinical reasoning in numerous roles. I learned communication, collaboration, and teamwork. I discovered my interest in high-quality vulnerable population care. My nursing experience and interest will help my career.
