Do I need to already have WordPress hosting before ordering?
No. If you don't have hosting yet, message me first. I can guide you on what to get. Once you have hosting and a domain, we're ready to start. Do not purchase anything until we've spoken.
What if I don't have a logo or brand colors yet?
No problem. I can work with a simple color palette and a text-based name header. If you want a logo designed, that's a separate service message me and I'll point you in the right direction.
Can you write my author bio and book descriptions for me?
That's outside this gig's scope. You'll need to provide your own content. If you only have rough notes, send them and I'll work with what you have. Placeholder text is also an option to start.
Which package is right for a first-time author with one book?
The Basic package works perfectly for a debut author — it gives you a clean landing page with your bio, book showcase, and a contact form. You can always upgrade later as your catalog grows.
Will my website work on mobile phones and tablets?
Yes. Every website I build is fully responsive — meaning it automatically adjusts to look great on any screen size, whether that's a phone, tablet, or desktop computer.
How do revisions work?
After delivery, review the site and send all your change requests in one message per round. Each revision round counts as one. Please check the package you ordered for your total revision count.
What happens if I'm not happy with the design?
Share your feedback clearly and I'll revise within your package limit. I recommend sending 2–3 reference websites before we start — this avoids misalignment and keeps revisions minimal.
Will I be able to update the website myself after it's done?
Yes. WordPress has a beginner-friendly dashboard. I'll also leave the site structured so basic updates — like adding a new book or editing your bio — are straightforward without any coding knowledge.
Do you offer ongoing maintenance after the website is delivered?
Ongoing maintenance is not included in this gig. However, if you need future updates or support, message me and we can discuss a separate arrangement based on what you need.
