What file formats do you deliver?
I deliver STL files (print-ready for any FDM or resin printer), STEP files (for editing in Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or FreeCAD), and IGES files if needed. You also receive a PDF assembly drawing and recommended print settings (layer height, infill, supports) for your specific design.
Can you design a waterproof enclosure for outdoor IoT devices?
Yes. I design IP65 and IP67-rated enclosures with gasket channels for silicone O-ring seals, cable gland cutouts, and overlapping lid lips that prevent water ingress. I also design conduit entry points and drainage holes for installations exposed to rain or humidity.
Do I need to send you my PCB or just the dimensions?
Just the dimensions and a photo or drawing of your board. I need the PCB length, width, and height with components, connector positions and sizes, mounting hole locations, and any ports that need case cutouts (USB, HDMI, power jack, antenna, buttons, LEDs).
Can you design a Raspberry Pi case with custom features?
Yes. I design Raspberry Pi cases for all models (Pi 3, 4, 5, Zero, Pico) with custom features — camera mount cutouts, GPIO access slots, fan mounting holes, OLED display windows, HAT stack clearance, DIN rail clips, and wall-mount brackets.
What 3D printers is the design compatible with?
I design for FDM printers (Creality Ender, Bambu Lab, Prusa, Ultimaker) and resin printers (Elegoo Mars, Anycubic Photon). Tell me your printer and I'll optimize wall thickness, tolerance gaps, support-free overhangs, and layer orientation for best print results.
Can you design an enclosure for an existing commercial PCB module?
Yes. Share the datasheet or exact dimensions of your module (ESP32 devkit, Arduino Uno, Raspberry Pi, custom PCB) and I'll design a precision enclosure around it. I add 0.2–0.5mm tolerance gaps for a clean fit without being loose.
Can you design a DIN rail mount or panel mount enclosure?
Yes. I design DIN rail clip enclosures for industrial control panels, wall-flush panel mount housings, rack-mount cases, and desktop enclosures with rubber feet. For industrial applications, I design with thicker walls, metal insert boss points, and EMI shielding slots.
