I will design custom usb plug play midi controller pcb with schematic gerber for jlcpcb
pcb engineering
About this Gig
I design professional PCB layouts for custom MIDI controllers from simple 16-pad beat pads to complex multi encoder surfaces. Every file I deliver is ready to send straight to JLCPCB, PCBWay, or any fab house.
WHAT YOU WILL GET
- Full schematic (KiCad / EasyEDA / Altium)
- PCB layout routed, DRC-clean
- Gerber files ready for JLCPCB / PCBWay
- Bill of Materials (BOM) with part numbers
- USB plug and play (no driver install required)
- Raspberry Pi Pico / Arduino / STM32 support
- RGB LED integration (WS2812B / addressable)
- MIDI over USB works with FL Studio, Ableton, Logic
WHAT I CAN BUILD
- 16-pad beat controllers with RGB feedback
- Encoder + fader surfaces (MA3, Resolume, Ableton)
- Custom button matrices and control surfaces
- Breadboard to PCB conversions
- USB or wireless MIDI hardware
WHY CHOOSE ME
- Files go directly to fab no rework needed
- USB Class Compliant: plug in, it works instantly
- I test footprints before delivery
- Maker friendly: I explain every design decision
- Fast turnaround with clear milestones

FAQ
Do I need to provide a schematic?
No. If you have a rough sketch or just a parts list, I can build the schematic from scratch and confirm it with you before laying out the PCB.
Will it work without installing drivers?
Yes. I design USB Class Compliant MIDI devices. Plug it into any Mac, Windows, or Linux machine and it is recognized instantly no drivers needed.
Which fab house do you design for?
JLCPCB by default cheapest for prototypes. I can also target PCBWay, OSH Park, or any fab you prefer.
Can you add RGB LEDs to the pads?
Yes. I use WS2812B addressable LEDs for per-pad RGB lighting. Included Premium packages.
What microcontroller do you use?
Raspberry Pi Pico is my default affordable, powerful, and great for USB MIDI. I also support Arduino Pro Micro, STM32, and others on request.
