FAQ
Do you provide the physical PCB, or just the design files?
I provide the design files (Gerbers, BOM, schematic) ready to upload to JLCPCB or PCBWay. I don't handle physical manufacturing or shipping, but I'll tell you exactly what settings to use when ordering.
I'm not an engineer — can you help me even if I don't know the technical terms?
Yes. Just describe what you want your device to do (sensors, connectivity, power source, size constraints) and I'll translate that into a proper spec before we start.
Can you write the full firmware/app for my product too?
Basic bring-up/test firmware is included in the Premium package. Full application firmware (complex logic, cloud connectivity, mobile app integration) is quoted separately based on scope.
How many revisions do I get?
Each package includes revisions during the schematic review stage before layout begins. Post-layout revisions (after Gerbers are generated) are available as a paid add-on since they often mean re-routing the board
What if my project needs more components than the package covers?
I'll let you know before I start if your component count exceeds the package scope, and offer a fair custom quote — no surprise charges mid-project.
Can you match a datasheet or reference design I already have?
Yes — send it over with your order and I'll design around it, flagging anything that needs adjusting for cost, availability, or manufacturability.
How long does a typical project take?
Basic schematics: 2-3 days. Full schematic + PCB layout + production files: 4-5 days. Complete prototype with firmware: 6-7 days. Rush delivery available as a paid add-on.
