Do you design 3D models from scratch based on sketches or ideas?
No, this gig is specifically for clients who already have an engineering 3D CAD model and need it optimized, textured, and rendered for high-end marketing, eCommerce, or presentations.
What CAD file formats do you accept?
I specialize in working directly with engineering CAD files. STEP (.stp) is highly preferred as it imports perfectly into my Cinema 4D workflow, giving me the best geometry to optimize for Redshift. I also accept IGES, SolidWorks, .OBJ, .FBX, or native .C4D files.
Why do you ask to be contacted before placing an order?
Every CAD file is unique. A simple solid object takes much less time to optimize and render than a mechanical device with 50 internal parts. Reviewing your file first allows me to give you a precise, custom quote and timeline.
Can you create 3D product animations or exploded views?
Absolutely. I use Cinema 4D and Redshift, which are industry standards for high-end animation. I can create 360-degree spins, exploded views of internal components, or dynamic lighting reveals. This is available as a custom extra.
How does the revision process work?
Before rendering the final high-resolution images, I will send you lower-resolution previews of the lighting, camera angles, and materials. You can request adjustments at this stage to ensure the final output is exactly what your brand needs.
