FAQ
What canvas size should I choose?
It depends on your use case. For game sprites — 32x32 is standard for most 2D games. For avatars — 128x128 or 256x256 gives good detail. For icons — 16x16 or 32x32. Tell me what the art is for and I'll recommend the best size.
Can you make it compatible with Unity / Godot / RPG Maker?
Yes — I deliver all sprites as PNG files with transparent backgrounds which are directly importable into Unity, Godot, GameMaker, RPG Maker and any other major game engine. Sprite sheets use zero padding between frames — the standard all game engines expect.
What file formats do you deliver?
I deliver PNG files with transparent backgrounds as standard. I can also deliver the original Aseprite source file, GIF format for animated previews, and upscaled versions at 2x, 4x, or 8x the original size.
Can you upscale it so it doesn't look blurry?
Absolutely. Pixel art must be scaled using nearest-neighbor interpolation — not bilinear or bicubic scaling which creates blur. I always upscale using the correct method so your pixel art stays crisp and sharp at any display size.
Can I use this commercially?
Yes — my Standard and Premium packages include full commercial use rights. You can use the art in your game, on merchandise, for streaming, or any commercial purpose. Basic package covers personal use only.
How many colors can you use?
This depends on the style you want. True retro 8-bit art uses very limited palettes — the original Game Boy used only 4 colors. Modern pixel art can use full color. Tell me your preference and I'll work within it.
