I will design your mechanical keyboard pcb, schematic circuit, firmware and enclosure
PCB Design and Prototyping Engineer, Concept to Fab
About this Gig
Mechanical keyboards live and die on the PCB. I design custom keyboard PCBs built around your exact layout, switch type, and matrix hotswap or solder, standard or split, with clean routing that keeps your build reliable long term. Beyond the board, I design matching enclosures and can support QMK/VIA firmware configuration so your keyboard isn't just built, it's ready to type on. Every file set is fabrication ready and checked before delivery.
GIG Services:
- Custom keyboard PCB schematic & layout
- Hotswap or solder matrix design
- Rotary encoder & OLED integration
- RGB/underglow LED routing
- Enclosure/case design (CAD)
- QMK/VIA firmware support
- Gerber & BOM files
- DRC checks before fabrication
Why build with me:
- Real PCB engineering, not a template
- Deep keyboard matrix design expertise
- Precise, reliable routing
- Fast delivery, clear communication

FAQ
What files will I receive when the project is done?
You'll get the full fabrication package: schematic files, PCB layout, gerber files, BOM, and drill files, ready to send straight to any PCB manufacturer (JLCPCB, PCBWay, etc.) with no extra editing needed.
Can you design hotswap, solder, split, and ortholinear layouts?
Yes. I design custom matrix layouts for standard, split, ortholinear, and staggered keyboards, in both hotswap (using sockets) and direct solder configurations, based on your exact key count and switch type.
Do you support QMK or VIA firmware configuration?
Yes. I can configure your keymap and matrix for QMK/VIA compatibility so the board is flash-ready and remappable out of the box, not just a bare PCB.
Can you also design the case/enclosure, not just the PCB?
Yes. I design matching enclosures in CAD alongside the PCB, so the board and case fit together perfectly on the first build, no rework needed.
What information do you need from me to get started?
Just your preferred layout (full-size, TKL, 60%, split, etc.), switch type, hotswap or solder preference, and any special features like rotary encoders, OLED, or RGB, I'll handle the rest from schematic to fab ready files. If you do not have all just send a message
