If your song needs a little something extra to make it sparkle, I can help you out. Choose from various shakers, tambourines, triangles, bongos, darbuka, udu, cajon, dholak, bodhran, djembe, sleigh bells, rattles, rainsticks, and more! I am a classically trained percussionist with over 20 years of recording experience both performing and engineering. I have a Bachelor of Music and over 20 years of gigging and recording experience. I have written and published works for concert percussion, piano, and small ensembles. I also have performed on a variety of recordings on drumset, percussion, guitars, bass, keys, and vocals. I have experience in symphonic percussion, jazz & pop ensembles, Irish folk music, praise & worship, and musical theater. My instrumental skill and composition background, as well as my years in ecommerce and digital marketing provide me a well-rounded perspective to help your projects succeed.
FAQ
Do you use real instruments?
Yes, all of my tracks provided to you will be performed on actual acoustic percussion instruments. No pre-recorded samples or virtual instruments are used.
Do you offer drum set recordings?
Yes, but that is a separate gig with different pricing stucture.
Do you play other instruments?
Yes, I will be offering guitar and bass services as well.
What DAW are you using?
I currently use PreSonus Studio One Professional and will provide customers with a 24bit WAV file of my performance unless other specifications are requested.
What microphones are you using?
I have an assortment of Shure, Audix, and MXL products in my studio.
Do you like pineapple on pizza?
I don't mind it, but I really have to be in the right mood.

Wow! I sent over some vague ideas for some vintage / classic percussion and in a few hours Jonathan got back to me with some great ideas. Next day I wake up and the tracks are there! Really great service and wonderful playing, really elevates and adds new dimensions to my tracks. Great service and beautiful sounds.
