With any of my packages, I will collaborate with you to write a poem that both you and I love
The process:
- Pick a package based on your needs - If you just need something short for a birthday card or instagram caption, the basic package is best. If you need a full length poem, standard would work better (especially if you want to play with rhyme scheme). If you want a longer complex poem, premium would be ideal. With any package, I will produce a quality poem that you're in love with
- Pick a rhyme scheme if any - ABAB, AABB, no rhyme scheme (my personal favorite), if you have a preference please let me know. If you don't know what you want in terms of structure, I can help you decide what will work best depending on your wants
- Communicate any expectations for the poem - If you want any specific details incorporated into the poem (setting, vocabulary, names) message me the specifics
- Revisions - If needed, we will rework the poem until you're fully satisfied

How long does it take to write a poem?
I usually take around an hour to complete a poem. If I get lucky and "find" a flow it can take less time, but I'm more likely to take longer to finish a poem as I'm a perfectionist
What makes a good poem?
Honestly, it's completely subjective. I prefer to write with little to no rhyme scheme as I feel it ends up being more authentic and raw, which is ironic considering rhyming is one of the main characteristics of a traditional poem. If it makes you feel something and you enjoy it, then it's good.
What's a rhyme scheme?
A rhyme scheme is the pattern of rhymes at the end of each line Example: Tired eyes Shameful gaze Sea foam lines Crimson waves This would be an ABAB rhyme scheme
What's a free verse poem?
Free verse poems don't have a strict rhyme scheme or structure Example (kinda): My hair feels like fiberglass as I pull my fingers through it I feel my lungs collapse with every sigh My teeth are aching in my mouth, begging me to rip them out A camera out of focus all the time
