Do I need Commercial Rights? (Probably) Why?
If you use my work for anything other than strictly personal purposes then commercial rights ($10 gig extra) are required.
Full Broadcast Rights? What's that about? ***Please be familiar with this before ordering***
If the voice over will be used in radio, television, internet/social media ads, or any paid marketing channel, you will need to add the "Full Broadcast Rights" gig extra. 1 SCRIPT = 1 FBR ORDER, 2 SCRIPTS = 2 FBRs, and so on.
Social Media Rights? What's that about?***Please be familiar with this before ordering***
If your purchased Voice Over will be featured on social media (i.e. Youtube, Tiktok, Instagram, Facebook, etc.), then it's required to purchase "Social Media Rights" to use the audio on those platforms. If you are going to be using them in paid ads, then purchase Broadcast rights instead.
What do I need when I place my order? ***Please be familiar with this before ordering***
Please have any necessary extras selected. Have your ONE pdf or docx document ready with the script(s) I'll read the script EXACTLY as written. Please also have any video or music for reference ready.
How to avoid revisions...
I provide one free revision of scripts of 300 or less words. If a script is larger than that, I ask that you let me do a sample read of a portion of the script to confirm the right tone, pace, etc... that you are looking for. This helps avoid revisions that delay you getting your desired product
Oops... something's STILL not quite right, what is your revision policy then?
After the first free revision, additional revisions are $10 for scripts under 300 words. A complete rerecord is NOT a revision, but I will do so for 50% of the total price from the word count alone for scripts over 300 words.
What will the final audio file format be?
By default your voice over will come as a MP3 (320kbps/48kHz/24bit). If you need it in WAV format, please select the "HQ Audio file" gig extra ($10) when you order.
I'm wondering about your time zone, where are you located?
I am located about 2 hours south of Chicago, Illinois in the city of Champaign, IL, USA. This makes my time zone Central Standard Time (UTC- 06:00)
