What file formats do you accept for review?
I accept most common CAD formats including SolidWorks, AutoCAD (DWG/DXF), STEP, and PDF drawings. If you're unsure whether your file will work, message me before ordering and I'll confirm.
Will you tell me exactly what needs to be fixed, or just flag problems?
Both. My written report identifies each issue clearly — manufacturability, tolerancing, material, or standards-related — and explains what's causing it, so you know exactly what needs attention.
Do you sign off on designs or provide engineering stamps/seals?
No. This review is advisory feedback from an experienced mechanical engineer to help you catch issues early. It does not replace formal engineering sign-off, stamping, or certification where legally required for your project.
Can you review multiple parts or a full assembly?
The Basic package covers a single part or drawing. If you have multiple parts or a full assembly, message me first so I can scope it properly and recommend the right package.
Is my design kept confidential?
Yes. Everything you share with me is treated as confidential. An NDA is available on request before you send your files.
