What information do I need to provide to get started?
I need a brief explanation of your application or business logic. A list of the main entities you want to store (e.g., Users, Products, Invoices) and how they relate to each other is perfect. If you have sketches or current data spreadsheets, that helps too!
Do you only provide the ER diagram, or do you actually build the database?
I do both! I design the visual architecture (Entity-Relationship Diagram) so you can approve the structure. Once approved, I write the SQL scripts and can deploy/build the actual database directly on your server or hosting environment.
Can you populate the database with test data?
Yes, absolutely. As part of my Premium and Standard packages , I can generate massive amounts of structured dummy data and write the DML scripts to populate your tables. This is highly recommended for stress-testing your software before going to production.
