I broke into investment banking without the traditional route, and now I help students and graduates work out the most realistic path in based on their own starting point.
This is particularly good for people from non-target universities, non-finance degrees, limited relevant experience or without an existing network in banking.
I am not here to give you generic advice like improve your CV, network more or prepare technicals. I will help you work out what actually matters for your profile and what I would do next if I were in your position.

I’ll hear your story, understand your background, experience and goals, then give you my view on where you currently stand and the areas you should focus on first.
Is this just CV and interview coaching?
No. CVs and interviews can form part of it, but the main focus is your overall route into banking: what experience you need, which opportunities to target, how to position yourself and what order to tackle everything in.
Can you help if I have no finance experience yet?
Yes (I didn't have a finance background). In many cases, the first step is working out how to build the right experience before applying directly to investment banks. I can help you identify realistic stepping-stones based on your profile.
Can you help students from non-target universities?
Yes. That is one of the main reasons I offer this service. My own route into banking was non-traditional, so I understand the additional barriers and how important positioning and sequencing can be.
