FAQ
Do I need "Commercial Rights"?
Usually you do. Commercial Rights are required for you, the buyer, to use the purchased voice recording publicly, even if you are not using it for financial gain. The only time you would not need them if it is solely for personal use. This is a pay-once buyout license and protects you and me both.
Do I need "Full Broadcast Rights"?
Broadcast Rights grant a full buy-out license for promoting your project with my voice through paid channels, like TV, radio, Facebook ads, Google/Youtube ads, etc. This is IN ADDITION to commercial rights.
Can I direct you live while you record?
Yep! I do directed sessions via Zoom/Skype/Discord and have SourceConnect capability as well if your job requires it. Message BEFORE ORDERING to schedule.
Can I get a demo/audition before committing?
Sure! I'm happy to record you a few lines from your script at no cost so that you're confident that you're hiring the right voice!
What recording equipment/studio do you use?
My professional home studio setup looks like this: top-of-the-line Neumann TLM 103 cardioid condenser microphone; Audient iD14 Mk.2 audio interface; Beyerdynamic DT-770 studio headphones; Professional acoustically treated vocal studio; Adobe Audition & iZotope RX9 plugin suite.
How many years experience do you have as a voice actor?
I've been working as a voice actor since 2014, but I've been an actor, performer, and drama teacher for over 15 years!
What kind of audio file will I get?
My orders are delivered in 4800Hz 24-bit .wav format for lossless quality, however I can send it as an .mp3 if you prefer.
When will you deliver my project?
Standard orders are delivered within 72 hours, though it is often much less. If you need a rush order, you can add the "Extra-Fast" deliver option.
What's included in a revision?
I offer one free revision with each purchase. Was the tone not right? Does the pacing need to be changed? Are there small changes you need? A revision has you covered. Additional revisions are available as ad-ons for an additional day each. *Script changes are not covered under the free revision*
Is there anything you WON'T record?
Yes! I will not record ANY project that promotes racism, homophobia, ableism, or overt sexism - no exceptions. I also do not record political candidate ads.
