Looks Like This Service Is On Hold
I will write welcome emails for photographers and filmmakers
About this Gig
Hi, I'm Josh. I specialize in email and advertising strategy for photographers and filmmakers who value nostalgia. I am fascinated by the study of advertising and the psychology of trust.
This is why your email sequence must be written to reflect the tone and feeling of your portfolio.
As I pour a cup of coffee and spend time with your work, I seek to understand how you naturally communicate with couples.
What's included:
-Welcome emails written in your tone and style
-Subject lines included
-Light revisions to refine voice and flow
Emails are typically around 150-300 words depending on what the message requires. The goal is not to reach a specific word count--it's to create the right introduction for your business and your clients.
You'll receive polished, ready-to-use emails in a clean PDF.
Since we're just getting acquainted, you can begin with the audition. This way, you can experience the writing firsthand.

FAQ
What exactly do I get for $5?
The audition is email number one of the series. Let us both witness how naturally I can match your voice. Even as reviews accumulate, new clients deserve a sample before the investment.
Do you write the emails inside of my email platform?
No. You’ll receive the completed emails in a clean PDF document.
How long are the emails?
Most emails are around 150-300 words depending on what the message requires. The goal is clarity and tone, not reaching a specific word count.
Do my emails just sound “pretty,” or can this actually help my business?
Your email list consists of people who left the chaos of Instagram to get to know you better. If your average ticket exceeds the current 1k investment, then even one extra booking could be fun to type on your calculator. Your list starts small. Your presence compounds over time. An expanding asset.
OK, I am interested… But what are the onboarding questions?
(1) What is the name of your website? (2) How would you describe the couples you work with most often? (3) Is there anything you want your emails to sound like — or definitely not sound like? (4) Will I learn a little about how you found your way into photography through your website/socials?
What if I am really short on time and need to skip the questions?
No problem! The only required question is: “What is the name of your website?” When I reach your website I should be able to locate your Instagram handle. Between your website & social media, I can get the copy 90% dialed in. We can always refine further after the first draft.
I’m getting ready to order the $5 project…but I’m nervous I misunderstood. What exactly is included?
You will receive email one of your welcome series. If you love the writing sample, then you can purchase “Complete the Series” at your convenience. So the writing sample is $5 for email one. Then the project $1,000 refine email one and complete emails two and three. A finished asset.
Oh, one more thing. Why haven’t I heard of someone offering a service like this for photographers before?
“Enter your email address to get 10% off.” Does that work for an e-commerce brand? Sure. But do you want your photography brand reduced to a “24 hour sale?” This is why I write your emails to feel like a scene from a novel. You are the main character. And the narrator (me) still uses persuasion.
