NinjaTrader has no supported way to run backtests or optimizations from code. I build the Windows tooling that makes it possible.

Starter Backtest Runner is built for one strategy and repeatable testing. Comprehensive Platform adds campaigns, monitoring, controls, versioning, and reconciliation. Ultimate Research Build adds trade exports, a dashboard, hardening, and a research loop that writes, compiles, backtests, and scores strategies against your gate.
No order or account calls exist anywhere in the build, so research cannot reach a live or simulated account.
Honest note: this uses reflection against NT8 internals and is not officially supported by NinjaTrader. Tested on NT8 8.1.8.1, Python 3.14, and Windows. Message me your version before ordering.

FAQ
Does this place or manage live trades?
No, by design. There are no order or account calls anywhere in the code. It cannot reach a live or sim account, which is deliberate so research can never leak into execution.
Will it work with different NinjaTrader strategies?
Yes. It's strategy-agnostic. It finds your strategy's adjustable parameters automatically, so you drop your own .cs file in and nothing else has to change. Your logic stays on your machine and I never need to see it.
Do I own the code?
Yes, on every package. You get the full commented source, documentation and setup scripts. It's yours to keep, modify and run without me. I don't do compiled-only delivery.
What is not included?
Depends on the level. The runner doesn't do campaigns, monitoring or versioning - that starts at Standard. Trade-level exports, the dashboard and the research loop are Premium. Bigger or bespoke platform work is a custom quote, so message me first.
Is this supported by NinjaTrader?
No. It uses reflection against NinjaTrader's own assemblies. It works and I verified it against their Strategy Analyzer, but NinjaTrader will not support it and a platform update could change the internals it uses.
What if it doesn't work on my version?
Message me your version before you order and I'll tell you straight. Tested on NT8 8.1.8.1, Python 3.14, Windows. If you order and I can't get it running on your setup, I refund you. I'd rather lose the order than have a dispute.
Does this work on NinjaTrader 7?
No. NinjaTrader 8 only. The internals it relies on do not exist in the same form in NT7.
What is the typical delivery timeline?
Starter is typically 7 days, Comprehensive is 14 days, and Ultimate is 30 days. Timing depends on your NinjaTrader version and requested integrations, so I confirm the schedule before work begins.
