1. What do I need to provide to get started?
To begin, I’ll need a rough sketch, an inspiration photo, or a physical sample of your garment. Please also provide your brand logo (if applicable), preferred fabric details, and any specific color requirements. The more detail you provide, the faster we can reach the final design!
2. What exactly is a Tech Pack, and why do I need one?
A Tech Pack (Technical Packet) is the "blueprint" of your garment. It contains all the technical details—sketches, measurements, fabric specs, and construction notes—that a factory needs to produce your design accurately without errors.
3. What files will I receive at the end?
You will receive a production-ready PDF tech pack. Depending on your package, I also provide the editable source files (Adobe Illustrator .AI) and high-resolution PNG/JPEG images of the sketches.
4. Can you work from a hand-drawn sketch or a photo?
Yes! I can transform your clear hand-sketches, reference photos of existing garments, or even detailed verbal descriptions into professional technical drawings.
5. Do you provide the Measurement/Size Chart?
Yes, I can provide a standard size chart for your target market (US, UK, EU, etc.). If you have specific measurements from a physical sample, please send them over, and I will incorporate them.
6. What is a BOM (Bill of Materials), and is it included?
The BOM is a list of every single physical item required to make the garment (fabric, thread, buttons, zippers, labels). I include a detailed BOM in my [Standard/Premium] packages to ensure your factory doesn't miss any components.
7. Do you offer grading for different sizes?
Yes, I can create a graded spec sheet (e.g., XS to XXL). Please select the [Specific Package/Extra] if you need full grading across multiple sizes.
8. Do you suggest fabrics and trims, or do I need to provide them?
I can suggest industry-standard fabrics (like GSM weight or compositions) based on your design. However, for specific custom colors, I recommend providing Pantone TCX/TPX codes to ensure color accuracy at the factory.
9. What if I need a revision after the order is delivered
I offer revisions to ensure the technical details are perfect. Please note that a revision covers adjustments to the existing design, not a completely new design concept.
10. Can I send this tech pack directly to a manufacturer?
Absolutely. My tech packs are designed to meet international manufacturing standards. I recommend sharing the final PDF with your factory to get an accurate production quote.
