About this Gig
Starting or updating a trucking business can become stressful when the wrong authority type, company details or carrier information is submitted. One mistake may delay your USDOT or MC authority and create costly corrections.
I help owner-operators, motor carriers, freight brokers and fleet owners complete FMCSA registration accurately.
My services include:
- FMCSA Motus registration support
- New USDOT number application
- MC authority application assistance
- MCS-150 biennial updates and corrections
- SAFER record and carrier-status review
- Operation, cargo and authority classification review
- Guidance for BOC-3, insurance and UCR next steps
Before submission, I review your legal name, EIN, business structure, address, operations, cargo and vehicle details to reduce avoidable delays.
You must complete required identity verification and authorized signatures. FMCSA fees, insurance, BOC-3, UCR, state permits and third-party charges are separate. Agency approval and activation times cannot be guaranteed.

FAQ
Do I need both a USDOT number and MC authority?
Not every business needs both. A USDOT number identifies regulated carriers, while MC authority is generally required for certain for-hire interstate operations. I will review your operations before recommending the correct registration.
Can MCS-150 be used for a new USDOT registration?
No. MCS-150 is mainly used to update or correct an existing USDOT record, including the required biennial update. New registrations are completed through FMCSA Motus.
Are FMCSA government fees included?
No. My package covers professional preparation and filing assistance. FMCSA authority fees, BOC-3, insurance, UCR, state permits and third-party costs are paid separately.
When will my MC authority become active?
FMCSA controls approval and activation. The applicant must also satisfy requirements such as insurance and BOC-3 filings. I cannot guarantee an exact approval date.
Do I need to give you my account password?
No. You should keep control of your Login.gov and Motus credentials. I will prepare the information and guide you through any identity-verification, signature or submission steps that must be completed personally.
