I will Proofread and Edit and English language document for grammar, spelling, punctuation, style and tone, and flow.
I have several years experience proofreading and editing documents, including blog and website content, academic essays and theses, resumes/CVs and cover letters, contracts, novels, and more. I will read through your document and identify spelling and grammar errors, the overall tone and style of the piece, and make sure it reads well.

What information do you need when I contact you?
The best information for you to provide when first messaging is, at the very minimum, a word count for the document. Without this, I won't be able to quote you a price, as this is the main information I need. Any other information, such as the subject of the work and deadline, is also useful.
What file formats do you work in?
The easiest for me is Microsoft Word, as this allows me to show changes made to the document. I'm also happy to work with Google Docs, but will need you to add me as an editor before we open the job. Please avoid sending PDF files if possible, but I will work on these in special circumstances.
What type of work do you take on?
Pretty much anything: blog posts, website content, scripts, product descriptions. Also, I happily look at all academic work (theses and essays), but I prefer to discuss these in more detail before taking on the job. This is only so we can cover things like referencing system and plagiarism.
