Bottom Line Up Front: You can't get where you want to go if you don't know where you are. I'll give you my thoughts as a reader, and that will help you figure out where to go next. I won't coddle you, but I will support you and your work as best I can.

I'm a reader, and I'm a writer. I focus on fantasy, sci-fi, and horror, but I'm open to anything. Send me your work, and I'll tell you:

 - which parts I did and didn't like

 - if I connected with your characters

 - if I understood what I think you're trying to say

 - if I want to read more of your story

 - if I'd read it again

 - and, most importantly, why I said what I said.

If you give me any other questions you have, I'll answer those too.

I can also send you a Google Docs link so you can see my notes before I finish and send my final report.

I'll tell you how your work impacts me as a reader, not how to change it. It's your story, not mine. However, I can offer suggestions as long as you understand that I'm not an editor. Of course, I'll let you know if I find something seriously wrong.
