What is the difference between MIDI 1.0 and MIDI 2.0 and do I need it?
MIDI 2.0 gives you 32-bit resolution instead of 7 bit meaning smoother knob movement, more expressive velocity, and per-note pitch bend. If you use modern DAWs or synthesizers from Roland, Native Instruments, or Arturia, MIDI 2.0 makes a real difference. I can also build MIDI 1.0 if that is what y
What DAWs will my controller work with?
All of them Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Reaper, Cubase, Reason, GarageBand. Any DAW that accepts standard USB MIDI will recognize your controller with zero configuration.
