What you need is a Developmental Edit
As an editor for your manuscript, I can give you insight into how a reader experiences your story and give constructive feedback on how to improve it from someone who understands the craft.
Through a detailed report (see enclosed example) and in-line comments, I will address every element of your story, and try to bring as many new inspiring perspectives to them as possible.

FAQ
Do you use AI in your work as an editor or a reader?
No. Why? AI doesn't really read, it doesn't feel—it doesn't experience. That's what we do, as readers and writers, and that is what literature as a medium is about. Therefore, I keep AI out of your manuscript, and your MS out of AI. It doesn't get anywhere near my analysis, reports or comments.
Is my manuscript ready for developmental feedback?
I believe you are ready for developmental feedback when you've done everything you can to make your manuscript readable and engaging, but still feel a bit stuck. You're certain there's potential in the words, but the story just wont come out to play. That's when you need some developmental feedback.
What does the Reader Report include?
The report will contain a breakdown of all major categories of your story and thoughts and feedback on them. These include: overall impressions and review; characters and their development; plot and structure; settings and descriptions; themes and motifs; prose and grammar; and additional thoughts.
What does the Inline Comments include?
Depending on which gig you order, inline comments will include my impressions as a reader ("this evoked this initial emotion/reaction") and in-depth feedback and ideas for improvement ("this line of dialogue seems out of character", or "what if she didn't do that, but this instead?").
