How long does it take to clean a hacked WordPress site?
Most cleanups are completed within 2-5 days depending on the severity of the infection and the package you choose. Critical cases can often be addressed faster — message me first.
Will my site go down during the cleanup?
No. I work on a staging environment when possible, or perform the cleanup with minimal interruption. Your visitors won't notice anything.
What if my site gets hacked again after the cleanup?
With the Standard and Premium packages I implement hardening measures that prevent re-infection. If it gets hacked again within 14 days due to something I missed, I'll clean it again at no cost.
Do I need to give you full access to my site?
I'll need WordPress admin access and ideally hosting/cPanel access. All credentials are handled confidentially and I recommend you change them after the project is complete.
Can you also recover a site that's been suspended by my host?
Yes. I have extensive experience working with hosting providers to lift suspensions after cleaning the malware. This is included in the Premium package.
