China Sourcing Agent 1688 and Alibaba Supplier Research
About this Gig
Buying from China shouldn't require you to speak Chinese or guess which supplier is real.
I'm based in Shenzhen, one of the world's largest manufacturing and electronics hubs. I've run my own store and dealt directly with factories and wholesalers for years. I'll be your eyes and ears on the ground.
WHAT YOU GET
- A shortlist of matching suppliers from 1688, Alibaba and Made-in-China
- A clear English report: platform link, MOQ, unit price range, lead time, location and notes
- Factory vs trading company signals, so you know who you are really buying from
- Chinese-language contact with suppliers on your behalf: specs, samples, negotiation
- A ranked recommended shortlist with my honest opinion
HOW I WORK
Text-first, so no calls and no time-zone juggling. You brief me, I come back with a written report and clear next steps.
IMPORTANT
- I do not pay suppliers, hold your funds or buy on your behalf. You pay suppliers directly, so your money stays under your control.
- I do not arrange shipping or customs clearance.
- Sample coordination is guidance only. You and the factory handle sample payment and shipping.
Message me before ordering if your product is unusual or regulated.

FAQ
Do you pay the supplier for me?
No. I never pay or hold factory funds. You pay suppliers directly, so your money stays under your control. My fee is paid through Fiverr.
Do you handle shipping or customs clearance?
No. I'm a sourcing and research partner, not a freight forwarder or customs broker. Shipping and clearance are outside this service.
Do you speak with the suppliers?
Yes. All supplier communication is in Chinese, on your behalf: specs, samples, pricing and follow-ups. Everything is summarised back to you in English.
Do we need to have a call?
No. I work text-first, so you can brief me from any time zone and keep everything in writing.
How do you tell a factory from a trading company?
I check the business licence, registered address and business scope, product specialisation, and signs of reselling rather than manufacturing. I report what I find, including anything uncertain.
