Should I use Ghost(Pro) or self-host?
Ghost(Pro) is managed hosting — easiest, no server to maintain, great for most people. Self-hosting (on your own VPS) is cheaper long-term but technical. Tell me your priority and I'll recommend the right path before you order.
Do I need my own server?
Only for self-hosting — you'd need a VPS (e.g. DigitalOcean), and the hosting cost is yours. With Ghost(Pro), no server needed. I'll set up either.
Can you move my site and subscribers from WordPress or Substack?
Yes. Migration (Premium) brings over your posts, pages, and subscribers from WordPress, Substack, Medium, or Mailchimp cleanly.
Does Ghost send email newsletters?
Yes — Ghost has native newsletters via Mailgun, which I'll connect and configure so you can email your members directly from Ghost.
Can readers pay for subscriptions?
Yes. I set up Ghost memberships with Stripe, including free and paid tiers, so you can monetize from day one.
