FAQ
Do you test on real devices or emulators?
Real devices only. Emulators can miss hardware-specific bugs, performance issues, and UX quirks that only show up on actual phones and tablets, so every test I run reflects what your real users will experience.
What will I receive at the end of testing?
A clear, organized bug report with screenshots or screen recordings, steps to reproduce each issue, severity ratings, and usability notes your developers can act on immediately without back-and-forth.
Can you test both Android and iOS?
Yes. I test across a range of Android manufacturers/OS versions and iOS devices, so you get coverage across the environments your actual users are on, not just one platform.
What will be included in my bug report?
Reported issues can include the bug title, severity, device/environment, reproduction steps, expected versus actual behavior, screenshots, screen recordings where needed, and usability observations.
Do you need my app's source code?
Usually, no. Functional and usability QA can normally be completed using an installable app build and the required login credentials. Source code is only necessary if a separately agreed technical review requires it.
Will my app and project information remain confidential?
Yes. App builds, credentials, documentation, reports, and project information are treated confidentially and used only for the agreed testing work. An NDA can also be accommodated when required.
How quickly can you test my app?
Turnaround depends on the app size, number of devices, features, user flows, and required report depth. Small focused tests may be completed quickly, while larger apps should be scoped before ordering.
