Can customer account passwords be migrated directly to Shopify?
No platform migration can transfer cleartext passwords due to secure password hashing. Customers must use the "Forgot Password" or account activation link on the new store.
Will my existing SEO rankings be affected by the migration?
URL structures change between platforms. I set up 301 redirects mapping old URLs to new Shopify pages to protect search authority, though brief index adjustments are standard.
Are third party apps and custom platform designs transferred automatically?
No. Proprietary platform themes and app functionalities do not transfer cross platform. Apps must be reinstalled from the Shopify App Store, and themes reconstructed.
