I am Juul Deschaeck, a guitarist, composer, and music producer with a degree in Jazz Guitar from LUCA School of Arts in Leuven. My work moves between genres: from modal jazz and experimental structures to electronic soundscapes and field recordings.

I composed all the music for the podcast Ik heb zelf iets meegemaakt, a production with national success in Belgium, reaching hunderds of thousands of listeners and influencing the national debate on sexual violence. In this context, my music had a supportive role: creating space, atmosphere, and sensitivity without forcing emotions onto the audience. The music has been recognised as a crutial aspect of the project.

Beyond this, I have contributed to multiple artistic projects as a composer and producer, creating music that enhances storytelling in podcasts, film, and multimedia.
