As a writer, editor, and folklorist, I read with both a reader's curiosity and an editor's eye. I work with fantasy, sci-fi, historical fiction, memoir, literary fiction, and more. Whatever your genre, I'll meet your story on its own terms.

What is the difference between a beta read and a developmental edit?
A developmental edit is an in-depth look at your entire manuscript, an examination of all the elements of your writing, from single words and the phrasing of individual sentences, to overall structure and style. Most betas don't look at these important details. This gig combines both!
