I provide professional proofreading and editing for clear, accurate and natural English.
As a former business newspaper editor with more than 6,000 completed Fiverr orders, I manually edit every document. I improve the writing without replacing the author's voice or changing the intended meaning.
I edit:

- research papers and professional documents;
- business and technical material;
- white papers and website content; and
- nonfiction manuscripts.
My edit may include:
- grammar, spelling and punctuation;
- clarity and sentence flow;
- changing awkward or repetitive wording;

Microsoft Word documents are returned with Track Changes so you can review the amendments.
This service is for proofreading and editorial improvement. I do not ghostwrite, invent evidence, alter research findings or optimise documents to deceive AI-detection systems.

Do you do all the proofreading and editing yourself?
Yes. I edit every document personally. I do not use AI to rewrite your work. I manually correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, clarity and sentence flow while preserving your original meaning and writing style.
What types of documents do you proofread and edit?
I edit articles, reports, business documents, books, memoirs, theses, white papers, website content and many other types of English writing. If you're unsure whether your document is suitable, just send me a message before ordering.
Will you change my writing style or voice?
No. I aim to improve clarity, grammar and readability while preserving your own voice. Your writing should still sound like you, only clearer and more polished.
Can you proofread and edit documents written by non-native English speakers?
I can. Many of my clients write in English as a second language. I improve grammar, natural wording and readability while keeping your intended meaning intact.
Do you proofread books and manuscripts over 100,000 words?
Yes. I regularly edit full-length books. Please contact me first so we can discuss the word count, timescale and the most suitable package or custom offer.
Do you proofread academic writing?
Yes. I can proofread academic writing for grammar, spelling, punctuation and clarity. However, I do not rewrite arguments, change research findings or alter academic content. For specialist academic work, please see my dedicated academic proofreading gig.
What is the difference between proofreading and light editorial editing?
Proofreading corrects grammar, spelling and punctuation. Light editorial editing goes a step further by improving awkward wording, sentence flow and readability without changing your meaning, your voice, or rewriting your work.
Do you format documents for publication?
No. This gig focuses on proofreading and light editorial editing. I do not provide professional book formatting or typesetting services.
